’The Power Of The Dog’ was founded by Maddison Grace, a 22 year old artist from the UK, with the aim of making accessible art for everybody. The brand focuses on harnessing the underdog mentality, and using it to empower and create. Influenced by artists such as Keith Haring, Caravaggio, and Michelangelo, she aims to fuse Renaissance art styles with abstract and contemporary influences, bringing a new style into both the tattoo and fine art worlds. While Maddison predominantly works as a tattoo artist, she still focuses heavily on fine art and commissions, with the aim to bring more classical art styles into the tattoo world. Maddison believes the composition of renaissance art works in perfect harmony with making tattoo designs that can flow with the form of the body, and that it enlivens the art further when applied to the living form.
